UBC Kids vision

UBC Kids Vision: “Know, Grow, Serve” Luke 6:44

That every child/family who participates in UBC KIDS will come to know and love Jesus as their Lord and Saviour, grow in that faith, choose to live lives fully devoted to Him, and learn how to serve the Lord and others with their unique giftings and abilities.

UBC Kids Mission

UBC Kids Mission

At UBC KIDS we acknowledge that parents are the primary disciple-makers of their children. We acknowledge that grandparents have a vital secondary, or in some cases primary, role in being disciple-makers of their grandchildren. We strive to partner with parents/grandparents to teach, support, encourage, and pray for their children/grandchildren as they grow, that they will ultimately choose to love Jesus and live lives devoted to Him. We strive to provide safe, quality, and engaging programming based on the Word of God for each age that assures them that there is one God who loves them and wants a relationship with them. We strive to introduce them early to the community of the church where relationships can be built that will provide the opportunity to point one another to Jesus.

Our Values

Bible Teaching

We teach the Bible in creative, interactive and innovative ways that bring the Bible to life!

Age Appropriateness

We create class environments and lesson materials to meet the needs and interests of the specific age and developmental stage each child is in.

Safety

Our goal is to create a space where kids feel both emotionally and physically safe. All our volunteers are trained and have valid background checks and our check out system utilises claim tags.

Relationships

We provide opportunities for each child to build relationships with others and deepen their relationship with Jesus.

Fun

We value creating fun environments where kids can learn about Jesus including games, activities, music, laughter and interactive experiences.

Partner with Parents

We recognize that God has called parents to be the primary faith-nurturers of children. We partner with each family as they provide spiritual direction for the next generation.
