WORSHIPING TOGETHER – Sunday June 14, 2020

As we celebrate our Anniversary today, we pray that you were encouraged by the Vimeo Worship and Pastor Dale’s message from Acts 20:22-24 (NIV), Undivided Purpose the next in the new series Undivided. We want to thank all of those who participated in creating this week’s special service. We are so grateful for your contributions.

As you continue to worship together in your online and household groups, we offer the following as a guide:

Opening Prayer: (Read by a Single Voice)

Lord God Almighty, today we are declaring your faithfulness and goodness with loud amens. Thank you for blessing us as your children and as your church. We are grateful for the cloud of witnesses who came before us and who have paved the way with perseverance and purpose. To you we give our glory. Today we make our own declarations of faith and thanks. We pray for those who are seeking you. Help us to see them and give us the courage and the words to point them to you. We pray for those who are preparing to approach your throne, may your peace be with them and may they shine with your love. We pray for those whose struggles are great. You know each situation. We pray for your grace and mercy. We invite you into our worship today. Holy Spirit Come. Lord Jesus Come. Father Almighty Come. Amen.

1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.
